DAY 20 - Belfast to Loch Lomond 17/06/2005

Stranrear to Belfast fast-ferryWe cStranrear ferry inside loungerossed into Scotland on the Belfast-Stranrear ferry and sighed with relief that we were off Ireland’s roads at long last. Once in Scotland we went back down to Carlisle, England, to have lunch with Kevin Borlase, formerly of New Zealand and more recently Kenya, and his family.

Closed for the day in St AndrewsHaving heard Glasgow was the curry capital of Britain we went there in search of a good curry. It was a difficult task and we heeded the advice of a local not to let the van out of our sight so dined in a more upmarket area than the university squalors. Glasgow didn't look the best place to free camp so we drove for some time up to Loch Lomond.
